We had a server cluster face a DOS attack and it caused mail to backup between approximately 13:00 EST 2026-03-28 and 06:00 EST 2027-03-29.
Not all mail was affected - approximately 10% of mail runs through this cluster - other clusters did not fall behind and were not affected by the attack. In the affected cluster, no email was lost - just delayed in processing.
The DOS has been stopped and we have processed and delivered all queued mail as of 07:45 EST 2026-03-29
